With the change in the portfolios of three ministers, the government seems to be returning to its old system. On Tuesday, the General Administration Department issued transfer orders of more than two and a half dozen officers of the Indian Administrative Service. Along with this, transfer orders of one and a half dozen officers of Bihar Administrative Service were also issued. Apart from promotion orders, now the issuance of transfer orders is being said to be a proof of the stability of the government in the government department.

Municipal commissioners of Purnia and Saharsa were also changed.
According to the notification by the General Administration Department, Additional Collector cum Additional District Magistrate Vinod Kumar Singh posted in Vaishali district has been made the Commissioner of Purnia Municipal Corporation. Purnia Municipal Commissioner Arif Ahsan (IAS) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, Patna. Meanwhile, Additional Collector cum District Public Grievance Redressal Officer posted in Purnia, Mumukshu Kumar Chaudhary has been made the Commissioner of Saharsa Municipal Corporation.

Now he will be the Municipal Commissioner of Nalanda and Bhagalpur.
Nalanda Municipal Commissioner Taranjot Singh (IAS) has been made Director of Fisheries, Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, Patna. Rohtas Deputy Development Commissioner Shekhar Anand (IAS) has been made the Municipal Commissioner of Nalanda. Madhepura Deputy Development Commissioner Nitin Kumar Singh (IAS) has been given the responsibility of Municipal Commissioner of Bhagalpur. Current Municipal Commissioner of Bhagalpur, Yogesh Kumar has been posted as Secretary, Industries Department. Satyendra Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, was given the responsibility of Municipal Commissioner of Begusarai. Darbhanga’s Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Chandrima Atri has been made the Sub-Divisional Officer of Mahua. Alankrita Pandey, Joint Secretary of the Health Department, has been given the responsibility of Additional Chief Executive Officer of Health Protection Committee, Executive Director of Bihar State Women Development Nigar and Project Director of Bihar AIDS Control Society.
